Material Options

Plastic, metal and elastomer materials selected around strength, weight, heat, environment, process and production needs.

Color & Finish Options

Pantone color matching, textures, coatings, printing and marking reviewed around material, process and appearance.

Functional Features

PCB bosses or standoffs, inserts, gasket grooves, vents, display windows, connector cutouts and mounts.

Project Workflow

A Clear Path from Design to Production

  1. Review CAD, PCB/component data, connector positions, samples, quantity and enclosure requirements.

    Project Review

  2. Define part split, mounting, fastening, material and process, then review manufacturing feasibility.

    Design, DFM & Material Selection

  3. Build samples to verify PCB fit, cutout alignment, closure, fastening, sealing features and appearance.

    Prototyping & Validation

  4. Confirm tooling or fixtures, critical interfaces, approved finishes, production files and inspection points.

    Tooling & Production Preparation

  5. Manufacture, finish, install agreed hardware or seals, inspect, pack and prepare the enclosure for delivery.

Enclosure design FAQ reference

What should I send for an enclosure quotation?

3D CAD, 2D drawings, PCB/component layouts, samples, quantity, finish and application details are useful. Send what you have; not every item is required.

Yes. The same project can continue through prototype review, tooling or fixtures, production, finishing, selected assembly and delivery preparation.

That depends on geometry, material, quantity, finish and performance needs. We can compare molding, CNC, sheet metal and die casting after reviewing the project.

Yes. Material grade, molded color, texture, paint, anodizing, powder coat, printing and marking can be reviewed for the selected process.
